🌱 What is Haritha Karma Sena?

Haritha Karma Sena is a sanitation movement functioning under the leadership of Kudumbashree and Local Self-Government Institutions, aiming for a waste-free Kerala. Their primary responsibility is to collect non-biodegradable waste (including plastic) from households and establishments, segregate it scientifically, and send it for recycling. The 29 Haritha Karma Sena members and 9 Solid Waste Management Plant workers, who work tirelessly to make Akathethara Grama Panchayat green and plastic-free, are the pride of our Panchayat.
