Panchayat

Panchayat is a collective body of elected representatives constituted to carry out the administrative functions of Panchayati Raj Institutions. In the case of a Grama Panchayat, it is the main governing body responsible for implementing the decisions of the Gram Sabha and managing day-to-day administration. History of Grama Panchayat
